Conference attendees will travel from across the country to attend Wharton Latin America Weekend 2017 at the University of Pennsylvania. We recommend making travel arrangements well in advance to secure the lowest rates and to plan your overall budget. There are several ways to get here:
Air: The Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) is located 7 miles southwest of Penn’s campus. The cab fare to University City is $28.50 (flat rate), or shuttles (we recommend Lady Liberty Shuttle) can be arranged for $10 per person.
Train (Amtrak): The 30th Street Station in Philadelphia is located just over a half mile from Penn’s campus. It is a $5-$10 cab fare from the train station to the Hilton Inn at Penn and other hotels in downtown Philly. Tickets can be booked online at Amtrak.com or by phone at (800) USA-RAIL.
Coach Bus: Attendees located in the Northeast should feel free to take a charter bus such as BoltBus.com or MegaBus.com. Buses also pick up and drop off passengers near the 30th Street Station in Philadelphia. Tickets can be booked online. This is usually the cheapest way to travel to Philly, tickets from NYC to Philadelphia for example can cost up to $10 roundtrip.
